Storm Bert

Following Storm Bert ground water levels across Dorset are very high and will continue to rise in response to further rainfall.

 Where groundwater is near the surface, intense rainfall will lead to surface water flooding. The image below shows the current flood warnings and alerts – orange areas are flood warnings and red areas are severe flood warnings.
