ON BEHALF OF Police Crime Commissioner DAVID SIDWICK

I am delighted to be able to let you know that the latest round of the Operation Relentless Community Fund was launched on 17th March.

Funding is available for projects and initiatives that reduce anti-social behaviour (ASB) or increase feelings of public safety, in areas disproportionately affected by ASB.

Applications are welcome for projects and initiatives which look to address local issues, with grants between £100 and £5,000 available.

Since the Operation Relentless Community Fund began in 2021, £150,700 has been awarded to community groups for 35 initiatives which reduce ASB or increase feelings of public safety. Projects which have been successful include community outreach work, employment skills workshops and sports activities, as well as sessions in primary schools to educate pupils about the dangers of county lines.

The more we can reach out to our communities, the bigger impact we can have in driving down ASB.
