Visit to Valognes by the Town Twinning Association

Cllr Diann March, the Town Mayor travelled to our twin town of Valognes in France accompanied by members of the Twinning Association. On the first evening the Town Mayor attended a Civic Reception hosted by the Valognes Mayor, Jacque Coquelin, at the l’Hôtel de Ville (City Hall) where the two towns exchanged gifts as a symbol of their connection. On the following evening, the Town Mayor attended a dinner hosted by the Valognes Twinners at the Panoramique de La Pernelle. The itinerary also featured visits to the Chateau de Tourlaville and the Marie Revenel Watermill (Moulin a eau).
