The Town Mayor’s Civic Day

During a busy and wet day in Wimborne Minster on Friday 14^th July 2023, the Town Mayor escorted a number of dignitaries, showcasing what a wonderful town Wimborne Minster is.

The High Sheriff of Dorset and other dignitaries from neighbouring councils joined the Town Mayor, Cllr Diann March, for this annual event and visited a number of places including the award winning Museum of East Dorset, the magnificent   Minster Church of St Cuthburga and its historic chained library, and Wimborne Model Town and Gardens.

The wet weather did not dampen everyone’s enjoyment of the day.
