Wimborne Minster Town Council, The Royal British Legion (Wimborne Branch) and The Minster marked Remembrance Sunday on the 13th November 2022 with a full parade, church service, wreath laying to pay respects to the fallen and to remember the sacrifices of those from all nations, who fought and died.

The service was conducted by The Rector of Wimborne Minster, The Reverend Canon Andrew J W Rowland, The Reverend Nick Wells and assisted by other clergy of the Town. The address was given by The Reverend William French, Chaplain of Wimborne Royal British Legion.

Before the service the parade commenced from the Royal British Legion on West Borough and finished at The Minster for the service at 3.00pm.

After the Remembrance Service individuals and organisations gathered at the War Memorial on Minster Green and were invited to lay wreaths remembering all the fallen of past and current wars. This was followed by a two-minute silence.  The bugle and bagpipes were played.

We would like to extend our thanks to all who attended.
