Ref: DAPTC Star Awards 2021/22—Triple Star Recognition!
I write to congratulate council on continuing to support the development and training of both elected members
and employees. Your commitment to training through DAPTC has propelled you into our ‘Triple Star Award’ category and a select group of parish and town councils—well done!
Last year DAPTC recorded a significant increase in the number of member councils attending training and the
number of delegates surged too. This was partly due to our online provision which saves money and time; as well
as new topics and projects delivered in conjunction with the unitary authorities.
As we progress further into 2022 and early 2023 we will look to blend the modes of delivery to reintroduce face to
face training as well as develop further our webinars and e-learning offer.
Thank you once again for your support and we look forward to see you in the coming months at either one of our
events or an online training course.
