Town Mayor plants tree as part of Town Tree Trail

The Town Mayor of Wimborne Minster, Cllr Carol Butter, planted a Sorbus Commixta ‘Olympic Flame’ at Walford Mill on 19 May 2022 as part of the Council’s Town Tree Trail.  This is the fourth tree to be planted in the trail so far.  The other three trees are located at Redcotts Recreation Ground and outside the Allendale Centre.  It is hoped that a total of 12 trees in total will be planted during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year.
