On a lovely sunny Sunday, the Mayor of Wimborne Minster, Cllr Kelly Webb, hosted her Civic Thanksgiving Service in the Minster. It was attended by several Civic Dignitaries including the Deputy Lieutenant of Dorset and The High Sheriff of Dorset.
The service led by Reverend Canon Andrew Rowland, paid homage to the highlights of 2021/2022. The Mayor paid tribute to the voluntary sector and all those who contributed so much to the community spirit in the town of Wimborne Minster during Covid.
The Wimborne Militia provided a booming display on the Minster Green following a cup of tea, sandwiches and a slice of cake at Church House.
